Who operates DULOV

Information we process
DULOV may process the following information when you use the app:
- Account and sign-in information: an authentication identifier and, when you use Google sign-in, the name, email address and profile image supplied by Google. Guest accounts use an anonymous authentication identifier.
- Profile information: the display name, unique username, profile photo and preferences you choose to provide.
- Bond and pairing information: pairing codes, Bond membership, connection status, shared milestones, reactions and related activity required to connect you with your chosen partner.
- Content you choose to share: text, notes, drawings, images, reactions and other content sent to your paired partner.
- App preferences and technical information: widget choices, themes, privacy and notification settings, session state, delivery status, and limited diagnostic or network information processed by our infrastructure to keep the service secure and reliable.
Photos, camera and local widgets
DULOV accesses photos only when you choose an image. Images selected for personal photo widgets remain on your device and are not uploaded to DULOV servers.
If you choose an image for your profile or send an image to your partner, that image is processed to provide the selected feature. Camera access may be used to scan a pairing QR code; the camera image is processed on the device and is not stored as a photo by DULOV.
One-time widgets and live chat
One-time widget text, drawings and images are designed for a single view. They may be processed temporarily for delivery and are removed after the intended view or expiry.
Live chat is designed for simultaneous sessions and is cleared when the chat session closes. DULOV does not provide a permanent chat history for these features. A recipient may still capture content using screenshots, another camera, device tools or backups, which DULOV cannot prevent.
How we use information
We use information only as needed to:
- create and secure accounts;
- validate unique usernames and maintain user profiles;
- pair users and deliver private Bond features;
- deliver messages, reactions, shared notes, widgets and notifications;
- save user-selected settings and keep widgets working;
- prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures and protect the service; and
- comply with applicable legal obligations.
Sharing and service providers
Content you intentionally send through a Bond is shared with the partner you paired with. DULOV uses Supabase for authentication, database, storage and realtime delivery, and Google for Google sign-in when you select that option.
These providers process limited information on our behalf to operate the app. We do not sell personal information and we do not use personal information for third-party advertising.
Retention and deletion
Account, profile and Bond information is retained while your account is active or as reasonably necessary for security and legal obligations. Guest accounts are scheduled for automatic deletion 30 days after creation.
One-time content and live-session chat follow the shorter retention described above. Local widget photos and preferences remain on your device until you remove them, clear app data or uninstall the app.
You can delete your account from Profile > Delete Account. This starts deletion of the account and associated server-side data. You may also contact RookDevStudio for help with a privacy or deletion request.
Security
DULOV uses authenticated access, encrypted network connections, secure local credential storage, database access controls and private storage rules. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You can control notification preferences, lock-screen previews, online status and partner activity visibility in the app. You may decline optional photo or camera access; the related feature will not work until access is granted. You can disconnect a Bond, sign out, clear local app data or delete your account.
Children
DULOV is intended for users aged 18 and older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.
International processing
Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we take reasonable steps to use appropriate safeguards for that processing.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when DULOV changes or when legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when a revised policy is published.
