About this policy
Shadow Devil: Trap Escape is an Android game operated by RookDevStudio. This policy covers the game, optional rewarded advertisements and support messages. Contact: rookdevstudio@gmail.com.
Game progress and settings
The game saves completed and ad-skipped rooms, your last played world and room, best times, death count, and audio, vibration, control and voice preferences in local app storage. These records let the game restore progress and preferences. The current game does not require an account and does not provide a RookDevStudio cloud-save service. Android backup or device-transfer settings may separately affect app data.
Advertising and third-party data
The game offers optional rewarded ads through Google AdMob. When the advertising SDK is initialized or an ad is requested, Google may process IP addresses (including approximate location inferred from IP), advertising or app-set identifiers, ad and app interactions, and diagnostic information. Google uses this information to deliver and measure ads, operate its services and prevent fraud. Processing depends on SDK configuration, device settings and applicable choices. Voice companion and permissions
The optional voice companion uses predefined game phrases and the device’s text-to-speech engine. It does not record your microphone or send a conversation to a RookDevStudio AI server. The selected speech engine may use its provider’s network services or downloaded voices. The game uses internet access for ads and external links, and vibration for optional feedback. It does not request camera, microphone, contacts or precise-location access in this version.
Support and external links
If you email us, we receive your email address, message and attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond and investigate the issue. Do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive information. Opening a website, app-store listing, email app or advertisement is subject to that provider’s own policies. The hosted policy website may generate standard hosting/security request logs, such as IP address, requested page and browser information.
Providers and disclosure
Advertising, speech, email and hosting providers may process information as described above. We may disclose support records when required by law or reasonably necessary to address security incidents, fraud or legal claims. Local gameplay progress is not uploaded to a RookDevStudio account by this version.
Retention and deletion
Local saves remain until app data is cleared or otherwise removed; uninstalling normally removes local data, though device backups may be separate. Clearing app storage also resets progress and preferences. Support correspondence is kept as needed to resolve requests and meet applicable legal or security needs. You can request deletion of support correspondence through rookdevstudio@gmail.com. We cannot remotely erase a save stored only on your phone. Third-party retention is controlled by the relevant provider.
Your choices
Music, sound effects, vibration and companion voice can be controlled in Settings. You can play levels without choosing rewarded ads. Android privacy settings provide advertising-identifier controls where supported. Clear the app’s storage through Android settings to remove local saves; check device backup settings separately. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, object to certain processing, or complain to a relevant authority. Contact us to make a request about information we hold.
Children and families
Parents and guardians should review the store age rating and supervise use of the game and advertisements as appropriate. If you believe a child has supplied personal information to RookDevStudio, contact rookdevstudio@gmail.com so we can investigate and address it as required by applicable law.
Security and international processing
We use device storage for game saves and rely on the safeguards of service providers for their services. No device, storage system or internet service is completely secure. Providers may process information in countries other than yours under their policies and applicable legal safeguards.
Changes and contact
